Las casas bioclimáticas se caracterizan por poseer una habitabilidad excepcional. Hay multitud de conceptos que se unen en este tipo de casas para convertirla en un hogar excepcional:
- ahorro energético
- libre de contaminaciones electromagnéticas y químicas
- preservación del entorno tanto por su lugar de construcción como por los materiales escogidos.
En las casas bioclimáticas uno espera vivir respirando aire puro.
En los últimos tiempos en la comunidad valenciana están floreciendo las empresas que se dedican a construir este tipo de casas. Pero, la verdad, es que pocas siguen todos los preceptos que desde mi pounto de vista se deberían requerir.
según La revista consumer estos serían los aspectos más importantes:
* La ubicación: Para conseguir el máximo aprovechamiento de la radiación solar y crear corrientes naturales de aire, la casa debe tener una orientación norte-sur, ya que en el sur el sol calienta durante todo el día, mientras que en el norte no llegan los rayos solares.
* La distribución de las estancias: Situando en la zona norte las que menos tiempo se utilicen (cocina, baños, trastero...), en la sur las salas de estar (comedor, salón...) y en el este los dormitorios.
* La estructura de la casa: Es importante que la vivienda tenga patios o huecos interiores a fin de facilitar la transmisión del frío o el calor que se genere y la ventilación.
* Un sistema de ventilaciones cruzadas: Para facilitar la circulación de corrientes de aire naturales que permitan calentar o refrigerar las distintas estancias.
* El efecto invernadero: Es la técnica más empleada para generar calor. Consiste en la instalación de grandes ventanales o cristaleras en la fachada sur y puede ir acompañada de la construcción de un invernadero adosado a la vivienda. Este sistema requiere un juego de aberturas para controlar las corrientes y la construcción de aleros o voladizos estudiados con anterioridad para permitir que la radiación solar entre en invierno, cuando la incidencia de los rayos es más oblicua, y no lo haga en verano, época en que los rayos inciden verticalmente. Este proceso se puede complementar con una chimenea o calefacción de suelo radiante (que puede funcionar con placas solares térmicas).
* El refresco del aire: Para generar frío lo más sencillo es aprovechar el sistema de ventilaciones cruzadas forzando por convección natural una corriente de aire desde el norte que pase por toda la casa y vaya por la parte más alta de la vivienda, o forzando a través de ventiladores eléctricos una corriente de aire fresco por galerías subterráneas.
* La elección de los muros: Para lograr la acumulación tanto del fresco como del calor generado es conveniente emplear muros de carga de mayor espesor e inercia térmica. Gracias a ellos el calor se conserva durante más tiempo y aíslan mejor.
* Otros sistemas de ahorro energético: Se consigue a través del aprovechamiento de energías limpias, como la biomasa, la energía solar o incluso la eólica. Aunque la utilización de estos sistemas energéticos es opcional, se suelen instalar placas solares fotovoltaicas (para generar electricidad) o térmicas (para calentar agua).
ten mucho cuidado al elegir tu casa bajo esta setrie de parámetros. No estaría mal acompañarte por un amigo arquitecto o físico bioclimático.
